Egyptian statue, Egyptian god Thoth was the god of wisdom, Writing, math, magic and astronomy. God Thoth was most often depicted as an Ibis headed man carrying a tablet and a pen. It was said that God Thoth wrote books of magic and incantation. Egyptian god Thoth is mentioned many times in “The Book Of The Dead” for his role in weighting of the heart ceremony. It was Tooth’s job to record the results of this ceremony and report his finding to the other gods.
